In the Company’s operations, CSR is not an afterthought, but is integrated into all activities. All decisions are carefully considered to limit risk and maximise benefit to internal and external stakeholders, and the environment.
NDEP and its operating Company comply with the Federal Government’s regulations and guidelines, those set by the industry, as well as internal health and safety polices.

In 2002, a Community Affairs, Health, Environment and Security (CASHES) Manual was developed to provide a detailed framework to guide health and safety issues and interaction with host communities.
This Manual commits NDEP, its operating Company and all contractors to limiting risk to the environment, staff and host communities.
NDEP operates a meritocracy. Its policy of hiring and promoting staff does not discriminate on the grounds of gender or ethnicity.
